Originally a partnership leased a lovely mare called Milanella but a little knock put her out for 2 months.  Fortunately we were able to lease Brave Alliance as a 'substitute' to give the partners some track action until Milanella recovered.   Milanella is now back in training with Nicky at Seven Barrows so Brave Alliance is released & available.

FORM

Brave Alliance hacked up at Warwick winning her bumper without coming off the bridle.   She was then just denied by a well regarded previous winner at Bangor last Saturday with the rest of the field well beaten.   Her form stacks up well & she is very promising.

BREEDING

By top class sire Presenting, out of La Brave, who is a full sister to Champion Chase winner Voy Per Ustedes. Brave Alliance was purchased as a yearling for 82,000 Euro's.

WHAT IS THE PLAN WITH BRAVE ALLIANCE   

With a bumper win, and a 2nd place carrying a penalty, already to her name she is clearly talented & can win races over hurdles.   She's ready to run over hurdles so you'll get immediate track action as an entry is just around the corner.  

Her schooling has gone very well & she jumps well. 

CONTRACT TERMS

Contract Start: 1st December 2011

Contract Length: to May 31st 2013   Initial 18 month contract.

Shares: available in 1/16th or 1/8th shares

Purchase Cost: is nil as Brave Alliance is available on free lease but an insurance premium must be paid.

Insurance: This would cost each 1/8th partner £530 on joining the partnership.   Insurance to be renewed December 1st 2012 for same value but full refund given, pro rata, when the contract ends May 2013.    Should you take a 1/16th share your insurance value would be £265 upon joining the partnership.

Monthly Fee: £299 per month, 1st monthly, for a one eighth share.  Or £150 for 1/16th share

Prize Money: All prize money she earns returns to the members of the partnership to be split pro rata

We are pleased to offer this attractive dark grey, 3yo Tikkanen filly on a two year free lease from Bill Bromley's Woodfarm Stud. Bill is very sweet on her, thinks she will do well, given her excellent breeding lines. LLR have only taken one horse from Bill before, that was 5 time winner Asturienne, so the link is strong.

 

She is over 16 hands, very well built but athletic. Her trainer Alan King has personally viewed her and is very pleased with her physical make-up. Marcus Foley (ex Nicky Henderson jockey) is in charge of her pre-training at his Lambourn base. He reports her to be doing extremely well, has good size, scope & a nice long stride,  Marcus is very happy with her.

TIKKANEN was the highest rated 3yo in 1994 by both Timeform & by International Classification.  He won a Group 1 Breeders Cup Turf (12f) at Churchill Downs, a Group 1 (12f) Belmont Invitational Stakes, and ammassed a total of $1.585m prize money in his career.

 

At stud in Japan Tikkanen has already sired 123 individual winners of nearly 300 races worth £6.100,000.  By Cozzene, a late maturing horse whose own stock improve with age, and a 3 parts brother to the excellent NH sire Turgeon, Tikkanen will make an excellent sire of NH horses in GB & Ireland.

 

This filly's half brother, also bred at Woodfarm Stud, is 7yo KNIGHT IN PURPLE who is 130 rated 5 time winner.  In May 2011 he was 2nd in the prestigious & valauble Grade 3 Swinton Hurdle at Haydock - form described by the Racing Post as " top class handicap form".

We are pleased to offer ROYALE PERFORMANCE, by the prolific sire KINGS THEATRE, on a two year free lease from Goldford Stud.

 

King’s Theatre’s progeny excelled in 2010/2011 making him the top NH sire in terms of percentage of runners to winners.  His offspring include Captain Chris (winner of the Grade 1 Arkle, Cheltenham Festival March 2011 & Grade 1 Ryanair Novice Chase Punchestown May 2011), Menorah (winner of the Grade 1 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, Cheltenham Festival 2010, Grade 3 Greatwood Handicap Hurdle, November 2010 & Grade 2 StanJames.com Hurdle, December 2010) and Riverside Theatre (winner of the Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase, February 2011).

 

Richard Aston, joint owner of Goldford Stud with his wife Sally, feels Royale Performance is well up to standard.  Previously we have leased Theatre Girl, Valleyofthedolls, Arctic Actress & Whoops A Daisy from Goldford Stud - All have won.

She is being ridden at home, will move into pre-training on August 1st, before moving into full training September 1st. At this stage a trainer has not been selected but it will be someone highly competent from the top tier.

 

The current owners are happy to cover all costs until October 1st thereby giving the LLR syndicate members great economy.
