2006 Chestnut Gelding (trained by Alan King) by Alhaarth (IRE) ex Aldburgh  He started last season really well with a win & a good 3rd at Plumpton (form worked out well) but then the wheels came off. Like many of Alan's inmates Peter Grimes was not well after New Year and was, therefore, given a long rest. He's back fighting fit and will be ready to race in late September, possibly on the flat. Peter Grimes now stands on a hurdles mark 113 so we hope, with his fluent jumping, he can pick up a handicap too. Ideal conditions would be a stiff 2m or even 2m4f with some cut.
