OUR HORSES: CHARMAINE WOOD 2003 Brown Filly (trained by Alan King) by Double Trigger (IRE) ex Forest Pride (IRE)                    Charmaine Wood on debut, 2nd at Sandown An impressive, and strong, looking filly from the same dam as Our Ben & Countess Camilla who was bred by John & Sara Hayden at East Burrow Farm. She did well last season as she won a bumper & was placed 2nd in another. Sadly she couldn’t cope with bottomless conditions on her last run at Newbury. She is a lovely looking mare that comes from a late maturing family. Charmaine has grown quite a bit through the summer so we shall have high hopes for her when she goes hurdling this season. She has plenty of stamina in her pedigree & would be best on decent ground. It’s likely she’ll need two & half miles to be seen at her best. Click here RACING POST  to view Entries & Form.
